wtf 660 with less than 50 stock? whats the reason? license type legislation? emissions? is it just to be 660 for people buy it as a 660 so they can say 660 ? I mean mt-03 has 42,0 PS horses out of half the hp. fourth less torque or something. (edit: oh at motor vs wheels i suppose, but still)

I think you met 70 foot pounds of torque not horsepower because it comes with more than 70 stock but you would be correct on the torque is just under 50 you brought it up to 70

Thanks so much Dave for taking the time and effort to show us all the process you go thru to tune a bike’s fuel map and as a consequence revitalise it’s torque and hp curves. I have a 99 Busa with a PC3, Akra full system and Yoshi stage 1 cams and I’m running a generic dyno tune free map which is ok… but not like a fine tune would be. One day I’ll get it it tuned by our local dyno guy (good reputation) and optimise the power and fuel economy. Once again, thanks for all you show us!

If i dont get a tune but i get a aftermarket exhaust and i remove the cables but leave the servo electronics alone and leave the servo in will i throw a code

Is that initial 40HP reading at the rear wheels, and final 64HP also at the rear wheels?

They use them same security bolts in jail to attach our stainless steel mirrors ect 😊

Just to clarify, this lams version is 655cc not 689cc like the high output version. So one would assume if you did similar work to a 689cc you may get a higher hp figure.

she sounds like she flys. can you show the fuel graph as interested how it looks. just had 38mm throttle tubes put in my T7 and dna filter with a special filter snorkal not dna. 74;6hp at rear wheel.

Showing my mate this before the road bikes get parked up for winter. Mt-09 and even mt-07s are one of my favourite bikes to ride. The power delivery is just smooth and super enjoyable for all conditions

ive been wondering why my bike is a dawg for a 700cc ... all these years i didnt know its the throttle bodies were purposely dialed back.. i was about to selll my bike after 9 years, but now im about to modify it. thanks a bunch!!

This is about as best you can get without digging into the head. I ran two seasons with that type of setup; race header, V stacks, ram air box setup and tuned on good fuel. This season though I’ve got a ported/slightly milled head, road race cams and springs. The work was good for almost 10hp over just the bolt ons.
